How does the auto-debit wallet work for USDT payments?

Explanation of the auto-debit wallet and how auto-debit works

Updated over a week ago

When you receive a PayLynk (payment request link), you can choose to complete the payment in USDT using an auto-debit wallet. This feature allows payments to be processed in a simple and efficient manner.

What is an auto-debit wallet?

An auto-debit wallet is a crypto wallet that we create on your behalf the first time you choose to pay with USDT. The wallet is generated using your contact email address. It is a non-custodial wallet, meaning that you retain control of access to it. The wallet is used to facilitate payments made through PayLynk.

How does auto-debit work?

When you receive a PayLynk from a business partner for the first time, you will be asked to authorise auto-debit for that specific user. Once authorisation is provided, the payment can be completed automatically when both of the following conditions are met:

  • There is an active PayLynk payment request, and

  • There is sufficient USDT balance in your auto-debit wallet.

When auto-debit is triggered, your wallet will automatically debit only the required payment amount to complete the transaction. For future PayLynk requests from the same XREX Pay user, payments may also be processed automatically whenever sufficient funds are available in the wallet.

Security reminder

Your wallet is protected and accessible only with your wallet passcode. Auto-debit can only be executed after you have explicitly authorised it for a specific XREX Pay user.
