Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an important security measure that serves to protect your account from being compromised. Please note that 2FA can only be enabled after you have completed identity verification. Learn how to set up the 2FA by following the information below.
Log in to your XREX Pay account.
Click your profile icon in the upper right corner.
Scroll down to the Security section and toggle the slider under Authenticator app to enable it.
Make sure you have the Authenticator app installed.
Open the Authenticator app.
Link the authenticator app to your XREX Pay account by either
Copying and pasting the provided security key into the app, or
Scanning the QR code displayed on your screen.
Copy the 6-digit code generated for your XREX Pay account.
Return to the XREX Pay login page.
Paste the code into the designated field and click on Confirm.
You're all set! 2FA is now enabled, and you’ll use your Authenticator app to log in securely going forward.
Note:
After successfully linking your XREX Pay account with the Authenticator app and enabling 2FA, you can open the Google Authenticator app anytime to retrieve the 6-digit code for XREX Pay. Enter this code into the designated field in your XREX Pay account whenever prompted—for actions such as logging in, confirming transactions, or performing other sensitive operations. With the latest update to Google Authenticator app, you can now sync your one-time passcodes across multiple devices. However, this brings about both convenience and security risks. We strongly advise turning off the syncing feature or simply using Google Authenticator without signing into your Google account.
